TimelyCare 24/7 Virtual Support

For the 2024-2025 academic year, HCC is contracted with TimelyCare to provide 24/7 virtual mental health care support to actively enrolled long-term credit and non-credit students.  TimelyCare’s licensed counselors offer telehealth support through unlimited TalkNow consultations and up to 12 free scheduled counseling appointments per student per year (no insurance needed!). Limited psychiatry visits are available upon referral (see Dean of Students Office).  Get started by logging onto timelycare.com/hagerstowncc or downloading the Timelycare app and sign in with your HCC student email address. Questions: studentaffairs@hagerstowncc.edu.

On-Campus Support

HCC’s CARE advisors offer support to students experiencing personal challenges. In addition to referrals to community resources, CARE advisors help students navigate college processes when students’ ability to be successful in the classroom is impacted by life’s challenges. Students can reach out directly to their CARE advisor, stop by the Registration & Student Support suite in the Student Center, or complete an online Need Help? form (under the Current Students tab on the website) to initiate support. Faculty and staff also identify students who may be in need of CARE support.

Family Healthcare of Hagerstown Mental Health Referral

Actively enrolled long-term credit and non-credit students may seek referral to receive priority mental health services through Family Healthcare of Hagerstown (FHH). Located just 4 miles from HCC's Robinwood campus and in downtown Hagerstown, FHH provides affordable health service, including services offered on a sliding scale fee and to students lacking insurance. Students are required to provide insurance information and after the initial referral, work directly with FHH for services. Student Mental Health Self-Referral Form
