Are you a new college student...career changer...or veteran interested in exploring possible career choices? Or maybe you are an "almost" graduate wishing to explore current job prospects?  The resources in this guide will be extremely helpful as you search for information for your individual need.  From self-assessments to determine your interests and abilities - to specific information about careers, salaries, and educational requirements - to suggestions for sources for current job openings, the resources that are available from the tabs above or links below will lead you to the information you will need for your chosen path. 

Career Possibilities - Which careers will be in demand in the future?  Which careers offer salaries in the pay range you would like to earn?  Which careers require skills that match your interests and abilities?  The resources on this page have information that can answer these and other questions you might have about a possible career choice.

 

Career Interest/Self-Assessment - Discover the careers that are most suited to your interests and abilities.  HCC's Focus2 Planning system featured on this page is a self-guided help you select a major based on your specific interests and skills.

 

Pathways to Careers - You have found the perfect career.  Now you need to determine what courses or educational plan will give you the credentials you need to pursue it.  The information on this page will assist in determining this educational pathway.
