If you have a specific occupational or geographic area in mind for a volunteer activity, an Internet  search for your occupation and/or geographic area may be useful.  Possible keywords could be very simple, e.g. Volunteer Greencastle, PA or Volunteer "social services" Chambersburg, PA.  Information on volunteering in Hagerstown, MD can be found at the link below.
