Candid Careers
This resource provides short professionally produced career advice videos by industry professionals which are designed to help students and career changers to explore career options, find internships & jobs, and succeed at work. The” Career Profiles” tab provides information about numerous job areas from the Arts to Technology; while the “Get Hired” tab provides insight into what employers are looking for in job candidates.
College Central
The primary job posting service for HCC, College Central Network (CCN) services assist students in finding jobs or internships, and offers career resources as well.
HCC Recommended Job Hunting Resources
This HCC webpage includes links to documents listing general job-hunting resources, as well as, resources for job possibilities in Alternative Energy, Biotechnology, Cybersecurity, Elementary Education, and Human Services.
Recruiters on campus
Employers visit the HCC campus on a regular basis to recruit new workers for their companies. By checking out this site on a regular basis, you can monitor which employers will be recruiting in the near future.
On-campus student worker postings
If you have little or no job experience, one of the best ways to gain some experience while you are enrolled as a student is to apply for a student worker position. These positions have various levels of responsibility that can be listed on a future resume.
