Critical thinking is an important part of the research and writing process. It involves being able to think clearly and rationally to find connections between ideas and approach information with an open mind. Critical thinkers value the importance of asking questions to find the right answers rather than accepting information at face value, and they are open to listening to new concepts that may broaden their knowledge.
