Adult Basic Education GED prep classes are offered in reading/social studies and math/science combinations. These classes prepare students for taking the four GED subject tests. Classes are free; the GED tests have a fee and are administered through GED.com.

National External Diploma Program (NEDP) is a self-guided program that includes a variety of assignments, projects, and activities that are completed on a computer. Students must be self-motivated and learn independently, as there is no instructional component. Student work is reviewed through weekly one-to-one appointments with trained assessment staff. NOTE: There is a minimum CASAS score needed to qualify.

If you have children, this may be the location for you!
Our classes at the Washington County Family Center are open to parents age 19 and older who have children under the age of 16. Children ages 0-3 may be eligible for free childcare during class. Families learn together, and our PALS team offers classes for those who need a high school diploma and those who want to learn English.

For more information and to schedule an intake appointment, contact the PALS office.
