Extended Loans

Standard check-out period for laptop kits and hotspots is 3 weeks, but special arrangements can be made for longer-term use on a case-by-case basis.

Replacement/ Damage Fees

Please be aware that loss of or damage to library technology will result in a charge and a block being placed on the borrower's student account. This will prevent the borrower from registering for classes or obtaining transcripts until the issue is resolved.

• In-Library Laptop Replacement: $368
• Out-of-Library Laptop Replacement: $1200
• Headset Replacement: $70
• Mouse, Case, or Cord Replacement: $15
• Mobile hotspot replacement: $100
• Technology repair costs: $100 and up

Library Technology Borrowing Agreement

To borrow laptops, mobile hotspots, and other technology from the Library, students must read, agree to, and comply with ALL of the statements below. Please note that you must sign in with your HCC student email account (ending in @student.hagerstowncc.edu) in order to access the agreement.
