Use Technology in the Library

Available Technology

  • Ten desktop VDI stations (for use by the HCC community and the public)
  • Six laptops with webcams (for in-library use, primarily by HCC students)
  • Headphones
  • Lightning, USB-C, and micro-USB chargers for smartphones
  • Scientific calculators (but not graphing calculators)
  • Wired mouse controllers (if you prefer a mouse to a trackpad with your laptop)
  • Microphones for videoconferencing and/or recording

Students, faculty, and staff may sign into in-library computers with their HCC Active Directory credentials (the same as those used for D2L, Self Service, and other campus resources). Community members will need to be signed in by a staff member after providing photo ID.

Work-from-Home Laptop Kits and hotspots are also available for off-campus use.

All computer use is subject to the library's patron code of conduct.
