About the Fletcher Faculty Development Center

Fletcher Faculty Center logo

The Fletcher Faculty Development Center is the teaching and learning center for Hagerstown Community College. The center provides a facility, staff support, resources, and workshops to help the college’s faculty achieve and maintain excellence in teaching. The Fletcher Center was founded in 2013 with a grant from the Alice Virginia and David W. Fletcher Foundation. Services include:

  • Consultation and resources for teaching in traditional and online formats 
  • Workshops on teaching and learning topics, including Applying the QM Rubric and Teaching in the Community College
  • Frequently needed forms, guides and FAQ answers
  • Work space, lockers, parking tags and copy service for adjunct instructors

Contact the Fletcher Center to request information about faculty services. The center is located in the Behavioral Sciences and Humanities Building, room 106 (BSH-106). It is open to all faculty members Monday through Friday.

Spring 2023 Summary Final Exam Schedule

Parking hangtag or sticker

HCC adjunct parking hangtag

Adjunct faculty hangtag (first hangtag): Complete the online Parking Permit Request Form. Pick up your hangtag in the Fletcher Center, BSH-106, or Student Activities office, Student Center-163.

Adjunct faculty hangtag (renewal, no vehicle changes): Email Fletcher Center to request a new hangtag. Pick up your hangtag in the Fletcher Center, BSH-106, or Student Activities office, Student Center-163. If your vehicle has changed, complete the online parking permit request form.

Adjunct parking hangtags are renewed each calendar year.

Full-time faculty parking sticker: Complete the Parking Permit Request Form. Pick up your sticker in the Student Activities office, Student Center-163.
